Amazon Influencer: October Updates you missed

by Data Coach Claire | Oct 20, 2026

Hi Reader!

Amazon Influencer changes fast.

This is part of a monthly series where I round up the big changes that matter, so you’re never the last one to know. Here’s what’s new this month, and how to leverage it:

Big Software Updates

(contains affiliate links)

ViralVue (code CLAIRE gets 10% off pro)

100 daily messages– now, with Pro, you get 100 included Creator Connections messages instead of being limited to 20 messages per day.

Campaign Findr –

They added a new product research tool within the web app (login to ViralVue.com to see it) called Campaign Findr. It works kind of like Product Vue within Creator Connections, but instead of needing to scroll on Creator Connections to load products in, you can use filters on Campaign Findr to look for products that way. I just tried it out and, using it for 5 minutes, found a great product to invest in and already ordered it!

Oink Pro (code CLAIRE gets 10% off pro)

Reporting help – you’ll see that in your earnings reporting, there is now an Oink table that gives you additional visibility into your products that are selling.

When I’m looking at what products are selling, my big goal is to look for products that are doing well that I could go back to to create another video of, and to look for ideas of where to do my product research. For example, I just saw on Oink’s table earnings info for a certain type of Christmas decor that worked for me well last year, so I’m going to go do more product research in that category this week.

Oink Blue for Trybe – Oink released an additional extension that helps you sort through potential brands on Trybe (UGC app – more info in next section below). So far, I’ve used it to filter for brands that are paying out their creators and that don’t already have too many creators accepted to them. Oink Pro members have free access to this.

Creator Kit – Creator Kit is a product research and deals-finding Amazon influencer extension, and it keeps getting better and better. It just added the ability to search for non-Creator Connections products on their web app to filter through thousands of options just using filters. It’s also releasing the ability to send automatic brand messages through the app.

One big pro that Creator Kit has over Oink and ViralVue is that you can use it from your phone. If you’re wanting to do your product research on the go or don’t have computer access, this is a great option. It doesn’t quite have enough features to completely replace Oink or ViralVue, but it’s a really powerful product research add-on.

Amazon updates

Oh, Amazon. Always keeping us on our toes.

  • Carousel shuffling – Amazon has continued to test video placement on carousels, and though the testing looks like it is shuffling less, it’s still in a testing phase and not “back to normal.” My friend McKay has been doing a lot of testing and keeping track of this, including gathering a large amount of data on what exactly is happening with the testing. I do still expect that the carousel placement will return to some type of systematic normality in the future (because that’s what makes the most sense for Amazon to do as a business). But in the meantime, these shuffling carousels are rewarding video volume and product research that focuses on lower-competition products.
  • Creator Connections campaigns – Most Creator Connections campaigns are still getting full within the first week or two of them being released. That being said, my Creator Connections income has actually stayed quite stable over the last few months. Over the last few months, my percentage of income that has come from Creator Connections has been about 70% to 73%, and so far this month in October, 72% of my Amazon income has come from Creator Connections. What is helping me be able to continue to thrive with Creator Connections is:

    1. I have early access to campaigns as a platinum influencer (Gold has early access too – if you’re not at least Gold, increase your onsite/offsite revenue to hit Gold)
    2. I am using Oink’s monitor and auto-accept tool to opt myself into new Creator Connections campaigns each hour.
    3. In product research, if I’m not able to accept the campaign before buying it or accepting/requesting it as a brand sample, then I’m skipping the product.
  • Global storefronts merge – Amazon announced that it will now be cross-posting our U.S. storefront videos to international storefronts. At first, this sounds like a good thing because you don’t have to do the work to cross-post. But then it sounded like a bad thing because I had heard reports of people saying that the videos weren’t cross-posting as well as they would if they would do them manually. My storefront hasn’t yet gotten the invite to merge to global, so I am going to try to stall and not accept the merge until I know better what’s happening and if it’s a good idea to merge or not. I don’t want to accidentally collapse all of my global earnings right before the holiday season! My friend Chris Huff, who created the Cha-Ching Automate Crossposting extension, has been providing great updates about this on his YouTube channel.

What top earners are focused on right now

I get to work with some of the highest earners in the Amazon Influencer program inside our mastermind group. Here’s what’s been top of mind this month:

  • Using AI to automate workflow steps – AI agents are getting so smart. Pretty much anything that you are doing that just requires clicking around on your computer can be automated away by an AI agent. This week, I heard of some members of our mastermind group talking about how they have AI agents title, tag, and thumbnail their videos, respond to brand messages, and even do product research for them. I haven’t yet implemented many AI workflows into my Amazon influencer work, but I’m interested in continuing to build these out.The best advice I have for creating new AI workflows is to tell or show AI what you are trying to do and have it talk you through the build. Don’t be discouraged if it doesn’t work perfectly the right way. The magic is in the iteration and feedback until it works seamlessly.
  • Trybe – Trybe is a new-ish UGC app where you can connect to make videos for brands to run as social media ads. I have been trying it out this month, and so far I think that it is fun and that there is definitely a lot of potential there, especially if you are already pretty good at making videos. I have already landed $3,000 worth of retainers and am earning $1 to $5 each day in commissions with only about 80 videos posted so far to Trybe. Am I completely ditching Amazon influencer? Heck no! I’m still posting 25-50 Amazon Influencer videos each week! However, I am really enjoying dabbling in this new platform/style of video, and I’ll tell you all the ins and outs in an email on Thursday.

Rooting for you this Q4 and holiday season!

To your success,

Claire
